A cloth shop at Hathipol was targeted by thieves on the night of 18th April. Rs 40000 in cash was stolen from the shop, which is situated on the Ashwini Market road at Hathipol.

The shop Gulabji Kasamji Brothers, is owned by Shabbir Hussain, resident of Siphon  In the morning yesterday, 19th April, when he arrived at his shop, he noticed that the shutter was broken. He went inside and noticed that the Cash Counter was lying broken and Rs. 40000 was missing. No stock in the shop was touched by the thieves.

Shabbir has filed the FIR at the Hathipol Police Station and the police have begun their investigations.
