5 Tola Gold Robbed by Fake Salesmen

Two unidentified persons impersonating as Salesmen, stole 5 Tola Gold ornaments from the residence of Biharilal Choubisa at Ayad.

The suspected conmen, posing as Detergent salesmen asked Choubisa’s wife to bring a few utensils to demonstrate how effective their product was for cleaning metallic items. After a while they asked her to bring ornaments, which on being provided by the lady, they put it into a vessel and asked her to keep it over a fire.

Once the lady entered the kitchen, the conmen fled away. On subsequently checking the vessel, the lady found that it was empty and the ornaments worth more than Rs. 1 Lac, which were supposed to be in the vessel were missing.

The Bhopalpura Police have lodged the complaint and the hunt for the accused has commenced.
