Another daylight mugging in Udaipur at Mukherji Chowk Area was reported today at 10:15 am. Satyanarayan Rameshwer Lal Verma (55) from Ratan Gargh, Churu was robbed of Rs. 1.25 lakh when two men bluffed him on his way to the jewelry shop near Ghanta Ghar. According to the Surajpol police the incidence took place when the victim was on his way to Jewelry market, Ghanta Ghar.

Another daylight mugging in Udaipur at Mukherji Chowk Area was reported today at 10:15 am. Satyanarayan Rameshwer Lal Verma (55) from Ratan Gargh, Churu was robbed of Rs. 1.25 lakh when two men bluffed him on his way to the jewelry shop near Ghanta Ghar.

According to the Surajpol police the incidence took place when the victim was on his way to Jewelry market, Ghanta Ghar. On the way near Oswal Bhawan two men who were standing by the road side called him and asked, if he knows someone named Rajendra Choudhary; with the following conversation they allegedly sneaked two bundles of Rs. 500 notes overall Rs.1 lac and some loose notes worth Rs. 25000 from his bag.

Later when Satyanarayan Verma reached the Jewelry store he realized that he is robbed and he immediately rushed to the nearest police station. An F.I.R was then launched in Surajpole Thana and police started investigating.

He informed police, that one of the accused is around 40 years and another around 25 years of age.

Satyanarayan Verma owns a Handicraft & Antique furniture shop in Ratan Garh. He came to Udaipur to buy some ornaments for his son’s wedding.
