Udaipur police on Wednesday arrested  6 more accused including a teachers and their driver in connection to the case of cheating while appearing for the Junior Accountant’ examination of Rajasthan Public Services Commission. 8 other accused including the 2 master minds of the case are however, absconding.

The accused were nabbed by the cops from the Gudamalani village of Badmer and were produced in court from where they were sent under 7 days of police custody remand.

The accused includes Manohar Lal Suthar (28)a 2^nd grade teacher of Sanchor village, Hariram Vishnoi (34) a Physical Training Instructor at Jhalor, Ram Nivas Vishnoi (25) a 2^nd grade teacher at Jhalor, Dhamma Ram Vishnoi (23) a Patwari of Jhalor, Papuram alias Bhanwar Vishnoi (27) a teacher at Badmer and Khetaram Jaat (32) a driver of Badmer who were arrested based on the information of the previously arrested accused Khetaram Vishnoi who was arrested by the Hiran Magri police on Sunday with a set of high tech micro Bluetooth and specially designed jacket found cheating during the Junior accountant examination of RPSC, said SP Rajendra Prasad Goyal.

Goyal further said that during the initial interrogation of the arrested accused it was found that the master mind Om Prakash Dhaka and Jagdish Vishnoi dealt in the cheating racket. They used to provide answers to a group of more than 40 applicants of the competitive examination at a time with the help of the specially designed jacket and the Bluetooth device.

The accused hired experts of various subjects including English, Mathematics, History, General Knowledge and Science and gave them Rs. 1000 for every correct answer. Those experts sit at a place where more than 40 people were provided the answers through mobile phones, said SP.

Police has also confiscated few mobile phones from the arrested accused that were used by them to execute the crime, SP R.P Goyal added.

One of the accused Khetaram Jaat who was arrested by the city police from the examination center on Sunday during police interrogation informed that the set of devices were provided to him by Jagdish who had charged a sum of Rs. 10,000 for it and also demanded a sum of Rs 1.5 Lac for providing answers.

According to the SP Goyal the scene came in light on Saturday night when the police received inputs of few applicants using highly sophisticated devices during the RPSC examination on Sunday. The police based on the information barricaded at various police stations and nabbed 2 accused Babu Lal Jaat and Bhagirath Vishnoi and recovered Bluetooth devices from their car. The duo accepted committing crime and retrieving the devices from accused Jagdish. Immediately, a state wide alert was launched after which accused were arrested from Rajsamand, Pali, Jaipur and other places.

Though many of the accused has been arrested till now but more important information like availability of question paper and the involvement of other people in the syndicate of cheating will be collected after the arrest of the absconding accused.
