In a cruel incident today, two chain snatchers allegedly slapped an old lady after they failed to snatch a Gold Chain off her. The incident took place today near Hansa Palace, Sector-4, Hiran Magri.

60-year-old Dholi Bai, a resident of Sector 4 was walking towards her house when two men on a black colored motorcycle approached from behind and tried to grab her gold chain. The victim, being quite alert at that moment of time, held her chain tightly thereby preventing the snatching.

Annoyed by the defensive action of an old woman, the young chain snatchers, slapped Dholi Bai and pushed her to the ground.

Dholi Bai is the Mother in Law of local area Corporator, Meenakshi Jain (Ward-26). A number of BJP activists protested outside the Hiran Magri Police Station and demanded action against the chain snatching incidents in the city.
