Pratap Nagar police has arrested 8 people accused of murdering 28-year-old Jitendra Kalal, a tea stall vendor whose blood soaked body was found at MLSU Campus on 1st Dec.

The accused were identified as Dilip Salvi, Hanuman Singh, Mohit Sharma, Amar Nath, Ghanshyam Menaria, Akshay Salvi, Manish Sharma and Ronak Jain, all accused are 19-20 year old and residents of Payda and Kalaka mata road areas, SP Rajendra Prasad Goyal said.
Police of all city police stations jointly coordinated in the search and investigation and after getting clue of suspects, the police team raided several areas and arrested the key accused Dilip and Hanuman Singh from Beawer which followed by the arrest of all the suspected accused.
The police team zeroed on Dilip Salvi after his name was revealed by victim’s father in his complaint, he informed police that Dilip and his son Jitendra had prolong dispute and a year back Jitendra also beaten Dilip. Since then Dilip was trying to revenge that embarassment, informed SP.
The joint teams of Dysp Ranu Sharma, SHO Chandmal and in charge of Special Task Force Abdul Rehman launched the manhunt with SHO of pratap nagar police station Manjeet Singh.
SHO Manjeet Singh and his team caught Dilip and Hanuman from Beawer while other accused were caught from various places of Udaipur.
Jitendra Kala was found dead near the swimming pool of the MLSU campus on Tuesday 1st Dec, Jitendra was brutally murdered with sharp weapons. His father Ganesh Kalal (Choudhary) lodged the complaint against the accused.
