It’s been three months & still the investigation regarding fake B.Ed degree of two government school teachers is pending. The said teachers are employed at the Government Upper Primary School located at Changla, under Gram Panchayat Adol & PEEO Gorana of Jhadol Panchayat Samiti area of Udaipur district.

A memorandum to this effect was submitted in December 2021 to the then District Collector of Udaipur by two villagers.  After this the Collector ordered the Chief Block Education Officer to conduct an enquiry.  The chief BEO interrogated the villagers and took their statements.

It’s been three months & no action has been taken even after two PEEOs were auhorized in December to check the teachers Service Book, Personal Register & other dcouments. The two PEEOs, Kailashchandra Gupta – PEEO Oda & Naresh Kumar – PEEO Thobawada were appointed investigation officers as per the order of 24th December 2021 by Chief Block Education Officer.  As the documents of both the teachers were in the District Chief Education Officer’s office, so the matching of academic documents with the service book & personal register could not be done in three months.

It may be noted that over 850 teachers in Rajasthan are under the scanner for using fake degrees to get jobs and/or seek promotions.
