Absconding Accused arrested in Ahmedabad
An accused who raised an amount of Rs. 8 lac by cheating people in the name of passport and visa was arrested at Ahmedabad airport. He was absconding since 2009 under the charge filed against him at Hathipol police station.

Nikunj Bhrambhatt of Vadodra was accused of fooling people in the name of issuance of Passports and Visa. He accumulated Rs. 8 lac and fled from the city, informed SHO Rajesh Sharma, Hathipol police station.
SHO further added that Nikunj’s brother Dharshit had started a passport office in Madhuban in 2007 where Nikunj joined him later. In between, both the brothers raised money from the people and one day disappeared with the cash. Following this, one of their employees Indra filed an FIR against the duo in 2009 after which the Hathipol police started investigating on the case.
During the investigation, the police got the clues that Nikunj was hiding in Australia after which all the International Airports’ authority was intimated about the absconding accused.
On Tuesday, Nikunj was nabbed at Ahmedabad International Airport by the airport authority and the information was conveyed to the Hathipol police. Upon receiving the details, the local police team departed for Ahmedabad and brought the accused to Udaipur under Production Warrant.
