A nursing college in Udaipur has been raided today by the Anti Corruption Bureau of Udaipur in anticipation of the potential link with the raid conducted in Jaipur yesterday.

Mewar Nursing College located in Titardi Udaipur was raided by special unit of ACB. The college campus, including the office has been sealed by ACB team as the investigation is still going on.

According to ACB officials, many flaws were found regarding infrastructure of the college, maintenance of attendance register and other documentations, which were allegedly breaking the norms.

As per the norms of the State Government, the area of construction should be 24000 square feet whereas the college is constructed in just 7000 square feet.

Ad.S.P. Prasanna Khamesra who directed the raid informed that, besides several irregularities in construction of the building, they are also doubtful with the attendance register of the college.

ACB has not directly stated any link with Mewar Nursing College and the multi-million scam unveiled in Jaipur that arrested a compounder working in Sawai Man Singh Hospital, while taking bribe of Rs. 5 Lac from a local nursing college owner to increase the number of seats in his college.
