Actor Pooja Misrra lodges report of Assault in Udaipur

Model, actor and Big Boss 5 contestant Pooja Misrra on Wednesday lodged an FIR against an unidentified accused for allegedly assaulting her while she was in deep sleep at her hotel room in Radisson Blu Hotel, Udaipur.

Model, actor and Big Boss 5 contestant Pooja Misrra on Wednesday lodged an FIR against an unidentified accused for allegedly assaulting her while she was in deep sleep at her hotel room in Radisson Blu Hotel, Udaipur.

As per the report, Pooja was sleeping in her room number 2206 where she was targeted by some unknown accused who tried to be physical with her while she was asleep. In the morning, she woke up to find marks on her body and condition of the clothes that made her suspicious of something wrong that happened in the night. She immediately called the hotel management and informed about the mishap.

A team of Ambamata police including DySP Gopal Singh Bhati and SHO Jitendra Anchaliya reached the scene for the verification.

Police informed that in the report, Pooja has allegedly claimed actor Sonakshi Sinha, her mother Poonam Sinha, actor Isha Koppikar and one of the businessman harassing her for the last 10 years in some or the other way. She said that she had filed a petition at Mumbai high court as well related the same issue and is under consideration.

While addressing the media, Pooja said that she has doubts over hotel management as she had a beverage on Tuesday night after she went into deep sleep and woke up on Wednesday morning.

She further added that she is in Udaipur for launch of Calender 2016 on Saturday and was staying at the hotel in room no 2258.

Due to some technical problems in the AC of the room, she was shifted to room no 2206 where this mishap occurred. She also claimed that during her stay, her jewelry worth Lac of rupees got stolen.

DySP Gopal Singh Bhati said that her report has been taken under section 354, 379 of Indian Penal Code and the investigation has been initiated. The victim was sent for medical examination and police took the footage of the CCTV cameras installed at the hotel to probe into the matter.
