11 smokers who were found smoking at public places were slapped with fine by the administrative team. The drive against smokers was started today under the direction of District Collector.

Team headed by Anil Bhardwaj, Food Safety Officer did sudden inspection of various areas in the city including Fateh Sagar, Sukhadia Circle, Saheliyon ki Badi and caught 11 people smoking in public places.

Anil Bhardwaj informed that the action was taken under the Cigarettes and other Tobacco Product Act.
