A 50-year-old man from Ajmer was found dead at Rani Road area of Udaipur on Saturday evening. Prima Facie, the police is considering it a suicide.

The police has recovered a bottle of poisonous substance and a mobile phone from the scene. Upon further investigation, victim’s son was informed through the mobile phone that reached Udaipur and identified the body.

The deceased Praveen Jhala was staying in Udaipur from past two months and working in a hotel. He left his home in Ajmer after having altercation with family members.

Body is shifted to the mortuary for postmortem and the case has been registered.
