Another case of extortion registered against Azam Khan
Just a few hours after the announcement of a reward on noted criminal Azam Khan, another case of extortion was registered against him by a local businessman at the Surajpol police station yesterday night. The businessman reported that he was demanded a sum of Rupees 50 Lacs over a phone call.

Pyare Kishan s/o Gopi Chand Agewal, resident of Sarvritu Villas near Ice factory, has lodged an FIR against Azam s/o Saeed Ahmed, resident of Chudigaru ka muhallah, Mukherji Ka Chowk.
The victim stated that few days back he got an extortion threat over phone demanding a sum of Rs 50 Lacs, failing which, the victim and his son would be killed. Soon after, the victim informed the police who after initial interrogation traced to call to Mumbai and the caller identification to Azam Khan. On basis of this information, a case was registered against Azam.
It may be noted that Harish Meena, DGP, Jaipur has very recently announced a reward of Rs 50,000 to any person who gives information on the whereabouts of Azam Khan.
According to police, the victim deals in transport business in real estate segment. He also has a whole sale business at Kherwara and supplies grocery items in nearby villages.
