Another incidence of theft was reported at Sukher police station on Friday where the unidentified thief stole cash and ornaments of gold and silver from a house, situated at Nakoda nagar.
Another incidence of theft was reported at Sukher police station on Friday where the unidentified thief stole cash and ornaments of gold and silver from a house, situated at Nakoda nagar.
In this incidence, the victim Rajendra Prakash of Nakoda Nagar reported that the accused had ransacked his house that remained vacant from 31st December to 8th January and stole gold chain of 2 tolas, few silver articles and cash Rs. 10,000 from a piggy bank that was kept inside the almirah, Sukher police informed.
The victim had gone to visit his daughter in Gurgaon and upon his arrival on Friday, he found one of the windows broken and house ransacked, added the investigating officer.
It is to be considered that this is the 4th incidence of theft that occurred in the city in the last 4 days. Prior to this, the thieves had targeted temples and a house at Fatehpura.
The report has been lodged and the investigation has started. Police is rounding up few suspects in relation to the rise in thefts in the city.
