Udaipur’s Anti Corruption Bureau Team has arrested five people including a Transport Inspector of Dungerpur RTO from National Highway 8. The team suddenly raided the place where RTO officer and his team were busy checking vehicles, an unaccountable amount of Rs.6000 recovered from them.

Additional SP Umesh Ojha informed media that he was continously getting information about illegal recovery of money by RTO team of Dungerpur on NH 8, after verifying the information, a team consisted of CI Hanuwant Singh, Constables Ashok, Bharat, Narayan and Yusuf raided the location and detained all the accused including RTO officer Vijay Singh Bhati, gaurds Bheem Singh Prahapat and Bansi Lal of Kherwada, driver Sardar Singh Meena and another person identified as Rajendra Singh Rathore.

According to AdSP,  further action will be taken once our investigation gets over, if they cannot produce any supporting document in relation to the  extra amount recovered then legal action will be taken against them.
