Armed Robbery Foils as public Thrashed Robbers; 2 Businessmen Injured
Two businessmen from Krishi Mandi have been admitted in GBH American Hospital today evening with bullet injuries after been attacked by two suspected armed robbers. The condition of victims is said to be out-of-danger and robbers are caught by common public of the area, who thrashed them before handing over to the police.

The incident occurred when Shyam Mirani (55), who owns a wholesale business of grains and cereals at Krishi Mandi, was going somewhere from his shop carrying Rs.1.5 Lac cash. Two masked robbers attacked Mirani and tried to snatch the bag containing cash, when Mirani resisted the robbers took out gun and fired three rounds, of which, one bullet hit Mirani in his abdomen.
While this was going on, another businessman Pavan Chittora tried to rescue Mirani but robbers shot Chittora in his stomach. Seeing this, people from nearby shops gathered and grabbed the fleeing robbers.
People thrashed both of them badly and handed over to the Hiran Magri Police Station. Both Shyam and Pawan were rushed to GBH American Hospital for treatment.
As we are writing this news, doctors are operating Shyam as one bullet is stuck in his abdomen while in case of Pawan Chittora, bullet pierced his body and came out from other side.
Hiran Magri police is interrogating the accused. After the initial investigation, police disclosed their names which are Sher Bahadur Thakur (24) and Pramod Shrivastav (34), and both are from UP.
Additional Superintendent of Police, Tejraj Singh reached the incident spot and also went to see the victims. All concerned police officials of the area are investigating the case.
Rajkumar Chittora, president of Krishi Mandi Business Association expressed fear and uncertainty among the businessmen of the area about the growing crime in the city and demanded additional security in the area from police.
