A security guard of ATM Booth was allegedly kidnapped by robbers and the ATM machine was damaged at Pratap Nagar last night. Due to timely arrival of police, the robbers fled away in car, throwing the guard outside.

According to the report given by security guard Dilip Singh Rathore, he came to his duty at evening 7 at the ATM Booth of Axis Bank. At around, 3am while he was drinking water, someone came from behind and covered Dilip’s face with blanket and pulled him inside a car.

After few minutes, Dilip heard noises inside the ATM as if someone was trying to break the ATM Machine. The man who was sitting in car with Dilip alerted his associates seeing police. All accused rushed inside the car and started moving further.

Seeing the police vehicle following them, the accused pushed Dilip outside the car and fled away. The police patrol team uncovered Dilip and asked him about the incident.

Police team saw that the ATM machine was damaged but the cash locker was safe. The CCTV Camera was also broken by the culprits.

Dilip Singh told police that he didn’t saw face of any accused as his face was fully covered with blanket.
