A 59-year-old man from Nathdwara was robbed of Rs. 1 Lac by a suspected auto rickshaw driver. No clue of the accused has been found yet. The police started rounding up the suspects.

Kalulal Kumawat took an auto from Town Hall road to Ayad, the auto driver asked him to sit near him while his wife was sitting behind, and the couple did as the driver said.

When they reached near court chouraha, the auto driver asked them to get down saying that he could not find more passengers and will not go ahead.

When Kalulal and his wife walked few steps, he realized that the one lac rupees was stolen from his pocket. It was all in one thousand currency notes.

Kalulal rushed to Surajpol Police Station and informed the incident that occurred with him.

Several incidents of pick pocketing and robbing were reported from passengers travelling in auto rickshaw of the city and in majority cases, victims are from other cities or nearby places.
