Auto rickshaw driver stabs his ‘Sawari’
A man was stabbed by an auto rickshaw driver today evening at Chetak Circle after a quarrel on the small issue. The injured was rushed to GBH American Hospital and a case was registered at Hathipol Police Station.

Shankar Khatik is a resident of Nai Village but was staying at Manadli Village, Gujarat for business purposes. Today he came to Udaipur and in the evening and hired an Auto Rickshaw from Mulla Talai, with Manju, his wife, and Mona, his sister, to come to the city.
According to the police, when Shankar and family were stepping out of the Auto Rickshaw, another auto rickshaw came near and both the auto rickshaw drivers made some obscene gestures at each other. Looking at this, Shankar objected and asked them why they were making such gestures.
Thereafter, some heated remarks passed on between them when one of the auto rickshaw drivers took a knife out of his pocket and stabbed Shankar on his right hand; then, both the drivers fled away in their auto rickshaw.
Shankar was then rushed to GBH American Hospital for treatment and police was informed about the mishap later from the hospital. After registering a case against the unknown auto rickshaw drivers police is searching the accused.
