Mohd. Azam who was sent on judicial custody yesterday, was presented before the court today again and C.I. Pratap nagar obtained permission for two days police custody of Azam at Pratap nagar Police Station.

In the initial interrogation, Azam have accepted the charges placed against him for contacting Shantilal, the real estate businessman and asking for a ransom as extortion, while he was operating from Mumbai.

Upon plea of C. I. Pratap nagar, court granted the C.I. the police custody of the accused for two days until 30 Dec.
