A lecturer at RNT Medical College was the target of a bag snatching incident yesterday evening.

Ekta Paliwal, was travelling pillion on a two wheeler with her friend Ayushi Ameta, a lecturer at RNT and when they were near the Hanuman Temple on MG College road, two boys on a motor bike approached their vehicle and snatched the handbag being carried by Ekta.  The hand bag belonged to Ayushi and contained Rs. 6000 along with ATM Cards, two mobile phones and a few important papers.

The two were going towards Ekta’s house in Madhuban on Ayushi’s Activa.  The bike which fled away with the handbag, had two men on it, one wearing a blue t-shirt and the other, a black t-shirt, as per the report.

The police, on getting the complaint have taken the required measures to apprehend the bag snatchers.
