An attempt of snatching a bag from a woman failed when the motorbike of the suspected bag snatcher slipped. The accused fled away leaving his motorbike while the victim woman and her husband received minor injuries after their bike collapsed during the snatching attempt.

The incident took place at Shobhagpura area when Mahesh Soni and his wife were going towards home. Suddenly the accused approached from behind and tried to grab the bag from Soni’s wife.

During struggle, both the accused and victim lost control over their bikes and fell. Soon after the mishap, the accused fled away leaving his bike on the spot.

Sukher Police seized the motorbike and started investigation on the basis of report lodged by the victim couple.
