A bag containing important documents alongwith a firearm has been reportedly stolen from a car parked at Hanuman Temple, opposite Fatah School.
The incident occurred today afternoon when Rajveer Paliwal, a businessman went to the Hanuman Temple while his car, a black Maruti WagonR was parked nearby and the driver Bhanwar Singh was said to be inside the car.
Surajpol Police has lodged an FIR and started investigations. According to the FIR, the pistol stolen is in the name of Rajveer Paliwal and was unloaded. There was also a laptop, a few important documents and the license of the pistol was in the stolen bag.
Rajveer Paliwal owns a manufacturing unit by the name of Archana Agarbatti at Sunderwas; he is also a distant relative of ward councilor Archana Sharma.
While talking to UT, Paliwal said that he visits Hanuman Temple everyday at around 12 in the afternoon. Today, after visiting the temple he returned to his car and went to his factory at Sunderwas, after reaching there he realized that his black bag was missing.
According to Rajveer, he was carrying a pistol to get it serviced, “I was taking it for cleaning at a service centre situated close to my factory,” he told UT in a telephonic conversation.
