Bedla resident caught with Illegal Arms
While doing its routine patrolling Tuesday afternoon, Bhopalpura police arrested a person in possession of an illegal pistol and live bullets. The weapon has since been seized and the accused booked under sections of Arms act.

Rohitash, resident of Link road Bedla was arrested by Bhopalpura police on Tuesday when he was walking towards Ashok nagar from Ayad area. Seeing the cops, Rohitash tried to escape but he was chased and caught. On being why he was running away from the police he did not give a satisfactory answer. Their suspicions raised, the patrol team frisked Rohitash and found a pistol and a live billets on him.
The accused has been arrested and is being kept in police custody for further interrogations, said SHO Chandmal.
The cops got the tipoff this morning that a person would come towards Ashok Nagar from Ayad area possessing a illegal pistol. Upon getting information a team of cops rushed to the area and launched a hunt for the accused and after waiting for an hour the accused was seen coming towards Ashok Nagar , said SHO.
