Cyber Crime Initiated Under the Name of Reserve Bank of India Makes its Entry in Udaipur

Udaipur, July 6, 2027 | Cyber Crime in Udaipur: On June 11, the Press Information Bureau (PIB) of the Government of India had notified internet and mobile phone users of the RBI Phishing Scam.

This scam is now visible in phones across Udaipur, specially on mobile numbers registered under company names.

The fraudsters send a WhatsApp message from the number that bears the RBI logo and warn of unusual transactions in the companies account. The message also contains a ZIP file or APK file.

This message is a fake and the accompanying file is a virus file and can affect your phone immediately and even your computer. Fraudsters are using such messages to steak your banking and personal information. Please DO NOT DOWNLOAD any such file.
