A construction worker was arrested while in possession of an illegal country pistol.

Dinesh Teli, 21 is from Bihar and makes his living as a construction worker. On a tip off, that Dinesh was standing near the Brahmpol Cemetry (Dargah), the Ambamata Police raided the spot and caught Dinesh, who also stays in Brahmpol in a rented accommodation.

During interrogation, Dinesh revealed that he was given the pistol by a person named Mahesh alias Vishnu Sen and asked to wait at the spot, for another person who would come and collect the weapon. Mahesh, as per Police, also has a criminal record.

The Police have booked Dinesh under the Arms Act and are on the lookout for Mahesh.
