A woman, riding pillion on a Scooty being driven by her daughter, was in for a shock, when her hand bag was snatched off her shoulder while the vehicle was moving. In the incident that occurred on the Ashok Nagar road near Maya Misthan, Harpreet Kaur, resident of Shakti Nagar was going towards her home, and was riding on a Scooty being driven by her daughter. When their Scooty crossed Maya Misthan, two persons riding on a bike approached their vehicle from behind and one of them snatched the hand bag from Harpreet’s shoulder. The lady lodged a FIR at Bhopalpura Police station and the Police have set up barricades and road blocks at various areas in the city. The bag is reported to have contained Rs. 8 thousand in cash, a few ATM and identity cards and keys of Bank Locker.
