An incidence of day light loot occurred at Sarvaritu Vilas on Friday morning when bike-borne accused targeted the victim and snatched away bag containing cash Rs. 5.17 Lac.

The mishap occurred when victims Nirmal Sharma and Mukesh Shrimali of Hridaya Co-operative Society reached their employer’s house at Sarvarituvilas with cash. As soon as the duo reached outside the house, two accused on bike rushed towards them on black Pulsar bike and snatched the bag from victim Mukesh Shrimali’s hand and fled, Jitendra Anchaliya, SHO Surajpol police station informed.

According to Anchaliya, the report stated that both the victims are the employees of Hridaya Co-operative Society which is owned by Vinod Jain. Mukesh, accountant went to ICICI bank with his associate Nirmal to withdraw the cash to hand it over to Vinod, who resides at Sarvaritu Vilas. But before they could enter his house, the accused targeted them and fled with the cash bag.

Different investigation teams are investigating the matter of day light loot. Moreover, the footage of CCTVs installed outside the ICICI Bank is also being verified for the identification of the accused.
