BJP office ransacked by Thieves, valuables and cash stolen
The office of Bhartiya Janta Party at Patel Circle was targeted by thieves. The theft took place on the third floor of office where the caretaker Khemraj Choubisa used to live.
The office of Bhartiya Janta Party at Patel Circle was targeted by thieves. The theft took place on the third floor of office where the caretaker Khemraj Choubisa used to live.
Thieves stole cash and jewelry which belonged to Choubisa and also took three metallic containers (Kalash) which had nearly 1 Lac rupees in it, gathered by BJP activists during a recently held fund raising campaign.
The incident was lodged at Surajpol Police Station and investigation has started. According to police, Khemraj was out of the city from past 10 days and the theft took place during his absence.
Today morning when Khemraj reached office and went to his room, he found the main gate of the building open. Khemraj doubted on the situation and upon checking, he discovered that all his valuables were missing.
Many party leaders reached the office and informed police about the incident.
