Body of an 18-year-old girl was found in mysterious circumstances in a room at Neemach Khera, Devali, today afternoon. The body has been kept at mortuary for identification un-recognized girl.

A slim young girl, wearing white T-shirt and black pants was found dead at a rented room in the house of Satish Bhattacharya, resident of Neemach Khera, Devali.

According to Satish, he had rented his room to Amrit s/o Kanti Lal Meena from Kherwada; Amrit introduced the deceased girl as his fiancé and the girl was staying in the room since 27/12/12; today morning when the landlord heard no voice from the room, he tried to open the door.

As he opened the room, Satish saw that the girl was lying dead inside and her fiancé Amrit was nowhere to be seen, knowing the situation, he informed the police about the mishap.

Police team reached Devali and took the deceased body to the mortuary for identification and started search for Amrit Lal.
