Family of Groom faced sheer embarrassment and shock when the family of bride disappeared on the day of wedding. This shocking incident occurred today when Baraat of Milan Purohit, resident of Sagwara arrived in Udaipur to marry Pallavi Sharma, resident of sector 14.

Family of bride, including her father Jaidev Sharma, mother and five sisters were staying in a rented house at sector 14.

Today when the relatives of groom visited the house, they found it locked. When enquired further, they came to know that the whole family left somewhere few days back.

On this, family of groom lodged a police complaint against the other party for alleged fraud. Groom’s family also claimed that both boy and girl were engaged in a ceremony on 6^th May and groom’s family had gifted expensive gold ornaments of 7 to 8 tola and clothes worth 40-45 thousand rupees to bride’s family.

All preparations of wedding which was scheduled today evening were done. Baratis including men, women and children had arrived from Sagwara to attend the function but after the incidence, they returned back.

Vinod Pandiya, relative of groom informed that one of the bride’s sisters was married to a person staying at the same place in Sagwara, where they belong to and that’s how they came to know about Jaidev Sharma and his family.

Whole family of Jaidev Sharma disappeared today including her five daughters and wife.
