Brothers beaten by Goons at Pahada, 5 Arrested
In a matter related to a pending property possession case, two brothers were beaten up by a group of people today afternoon at their home in Pahada. It was only when the Police arrived, the goons fled the scene.
The matter dates back to 5 years ago, when the applicant, Madan Morriya had undertaken a deal to sell his home at Nandeshwar Colony, Gandhi Nagar, Pahada to one Amba Lal Paliwal.

The matter dates back to 5 years ago, when the applicant, Madan Morriya had undertaken a deal to sell his home at Nandeshwar Colony, Gandhi Nagar, Pahada to one Amba Lal Paliwal.
The deal took place for Rs. 10 lac, against which an advance of Rs. 2.2 lac (Rs. 50K in cash and two cheques of 85K each) was paid by Amba Lal to Madan in 2007.
Madan Morriya had in turn purchased this home from Madan Lal Mali and his wife Narmada in 2004.
The home, which stood unclaimed by the buyers for 5 long years, is registered in the name of Madan’s wife Sumitra Morriya who was taken into police custody some days back in an alleged case under Section 420.
Today after noon when Madan was not at home, Amba Lal, his son Om Prakash Joshi and Dhanraj Joshi along with 10 other persons attacked Madan’s sons Arvind, 24 and Sushil, 22 Joshi with iron rods and other items. It was only when Duty Officer Dayanand Saaran came to the scene that the attackers fled, leaving behind their vehicles, a car and a motor bike.
The brother duo is significantly injured and has been admitted to M.B. Hospital for treatment.
