Slapping the security concern over the police department, suspected thieves have executed a burglary worth Lacs of rupees last night at Kanji Ka Hata; strangely the targeted house is located at the back of Surajpol Police Station.

Precious ornaments, including Gold and Diamond jewelries valued at more than Rs.15 Lac and Rs.1.5 Lac cash is reported missing from the house of Ajay Agrawal. The vIctim who owns a petrol pump at Bichiwada has lodged a police complaint. The theft was discovered today morning when the family woke up from their sleep.

According to the sources, Ajay Agrawal went to sleep at 12 last night; the bedroom is situated on the ground floor of the house, while the jewelry and cash were kept in a room on the first floor. According to Ajay, he locked the first floor room before going to sleep.

Today morning at around 7:30, when Ajay Agrawal went upstairs to check the room he was shocked seeing everything in room was ransacked and the cupboard was open and all cash and ornaments were missing.

Ajay rushed down to see the main door which was also lying open and few artificial jewelry of her wife was lying in the garden area.

He immediately rushed to police station and informed about the mishap. Ajay Agarwal lives with his brother Vijay Agrawal in the same house.

C. I. Surajpol, Sobhagya Singh and his team started the investigation. According to Agrawal, there were 2 Diamond sets worth more than Rs. 3.5 lac, 30 tola of gold, including mangal sutra, necklaces, 3 gold sets, kundan jewelry and Rs 1.5 lac cash which have been stolen.
