Udaipur Mavli Court Sentences Husband to Death in Heinous Wife Murder Case

The court considered this entire case in the "rare of the rarest" category and said that this crime not only shames humanity but also shocks the entire society. According to the information, the accused Kishanlal often taunted his wife Laxmi about her being dark and fat. After constantly harassing her, he hatched a conspiracy to kill his wife. The accused brought a brown colored liquid and deceived Laxmi by saying that applying it will make her complexion fair. The wife had full faith in her husband. The accused made Laxmi remove her clothes and applied that chemical on her entire body. When Laxmi applied the substance on her body, the accused set her on fire with a burning incense stick. Not only this, he also poured the extra chemical left in the bottle on the burning Laxmi. Laxmi died in agony due to severe burns.

The court made a strong comment in this case and while giving the verdict said that the act of the accused is "extremely disgusting and a stigma to humanity". Such mentality cannot be imagined in a healthy and civilized society. It is necessary to give the harshest punishment to maintain the fear of law and respect for the court among the criminals. The court called it a case "rarest of the virus" and said that this type of brutal murder shakes the society. The court ordered that Kishanlal be hanged till death.
