Case of Firing reported from Hiran Magri

A business man of Savina area presented a memorandum to Superintendent of Police demanding legal action against an accused for firing at him last night. Luckily, the bullet missed him and there was no casualty. Incidence of firing was related to a land dispute.

Virendra Jain, resident of H.N 68, Dhan Mandi, runs a Building material shop at Savina near Jain temple. Yesterday evening around 7.15 pm, when he was closing his shop, two bike borne boys came at his shop and asked him about his father Nathu Lal. In the next moment, the pillion rider took a pistol out of his pocket and fired a round on him. Somehow the victim survived and soon after that the biker duo fled from the scene.

Today morning Virendra and his father gave a report at the Hiran Magri police station about the incident.

Virendra Jain informed that he is owns a piece of land (3600 Sq.ft) in Savina which is registered on his name. Shaitan Singh, Sanjay Singh and Rahul Teli (all residents of Savina) were eyeing that piece.

Currently there is a stay on the disputed land and the matter is under consideration. He also informed that on 27.12.13, few of the accused destroyed the boundary wall of the land and also damaged an auto rickshaw parked there.

Jain also added that after yesterday’s incidence he was getting life threatening calls from the accused about not lodging an FIR against them.

Under these circumstances, Jain today presented a memorandum to the S.P Mahesh Kumar Goyal on which Goyal assured him of strict legal action against the accused as soon as possible and directed the related police station to investigate the matter.
