Ornaments of Lacs of rupees and cash have been stolen by a thief from an expecting woman slept in a private hospital. Police has found some Close Circuit camera footage from the hospital in which a suspect was spotted.

The victim Anjali Borana, a resident of 80 feet road was admitted to the hospital since Monday and was staying at room no .117 of the hospital on the second floor. In early hours of Tuesday morning, someone entered the room and stole a bag containing ornaments worth Rs. 80,000 and Rs 20,000 cash. At the time of incidence Anjali’s mother Karuna Devi and her father Girish were sleeping inside her room on the floor, informed by Hitesh Jhajhed victim’s relative.

Hitesh added that the victims immediately informed the hospital administration about the mishap upon which the CCTV footage of the hospital was verified. During the verification, a suspect was spotted in the camera while coming out of the victim’s room at around 6 o’clock in the morning.

Later the police was informed about the incidence and a report was lodged against the accused after which the investigation has been started.

When the hospital administration was questioned about the security arrangements, they denied for being responsible for the mishap, Harish added.
