A chain snatching incident was reported today evening near the MB Hospital compound where culprits targeted a middle-aged woman.

According to the Hathipol Police Station, Kamla Jain (45), resident of Galaxy Apartments, Fatehpura went to MB Hospital today at 5.45PM. After the medical checkup, she headed to Hathipol on foot.

Whilst en-route, she halted near the hospital entrance towards the Ashwini Bazaar side to take some vegetables. This was when 2 boys on a bike came from behind and snatched her chain.

The victim said that snatchers were riding on a black colored Splendor and they snatched her 2 Tola chain. She then immediately registered the case with the Hathipol Police Station.

The Police acted swiftly and while writing this news, two suspects have already been taken into custody. Nothing, however has been confirmed about them being snatchers
