A middle aged woman named Manju Choudhary was targeted by chain snatchers who snatched away 3 tola gold Mangalsutra from her neck on Friday afternoon at Delhi gate while she was busy shopping. She and her sister discovered the mishap later when they were heading towards their house on their two wheeler after which they lodged an FIR against the accused. 

According to Dhan Mandi police the victim Manju and her sister came to Delhi Gate at around 2. After purchasing sweets and other eatables from Raj Laxmi Sweet shop they were heading towards their house situated at Savina. A few meters away from the sweet shop, the victim realized her Mangasutra being stolen.

She immediately rushed to the police station and lodged an FIR saying that she suspected few women in the crowded street who were constantly touching her. Upon this information, police started the investigation and collected footage from CCTV installed in nearby shops.
