In another case of chain snatching, a woman became target of chain snatchers at University area on Wednesday evening. The incidence occurred near Vikas Vidya Mandir School when the victim woman and her minor son were heading towards home on scooter.

Victim Bhawna Dangi, resident of University road was pushed by the accused bikers who came from behind and snatched the gold chain from her neck. During the attack, the victim tried to resist but she fell along with her scooter and the accused fled away. Both mother and son sustained minor injuries.

Bhawna informed her husband Dr. Nishant Dangi about the incident and later reported to police.
