A senior citizen woman was targeted by chain snatchers today at Ambamata. However, the bikers failed in their attempt to pull off the gold chain and fled away from the scene.

According to sources, the woman, who did not want to be identified was walking near her residence when two people on motorcycle approached from behind and tried to snatch the gold chain. Luckily for the woman, their attempt failed.

No police complaint has been lodged by the woman.
