Two of the co-accused in the illegal weapon case have been sent to judicial custody while one of them was presented in court to extend his remand period under the Arms Act.

According to sources, the Court has send Chaman Gayri and Majid Mohammad to judicial custody. Both the accused were detained for possessing illegal arms by Hathipol Police Station and extension of remand has been requested for the key accused Ashraf Ikram.
Police said that during the interrogation, Chaman Gayri confessed to having purchased the weapon from Ashraf to take revenge with a person.
In the other case of murder, Babulal Khatik, accused of killing his step mother was presented before court and sent to one day remand for further interrogation.
