A case of kidnapping was reported at University Road yesterday.

The FIR was lodged by the family members of a 17 year old girl from Kherwara studying in class Xth at a school in Udaipur.

As per the report, the girl had left her hostel at Anand Dham for attending tuition, but when she did not returned back, the hostel warden informed her family members.

They arrived from Kherwara in search of the girl, but eventually gave up and reported a case of alleged kidnapping against their a neighbor, from their village in Kherwara.

The Police have launched a manhunt to look for the alleged kidnapper and the girl.
