Udaipur Anti Corruption Bureau has caught and arrested a clerk posted in State Insurance and Provision Department, yesterday on 4^th of Oct while taking bribe of Rs.10000 from a man in return of getting done insurance related work.

The clerk Rajendra Naval, resident of Hiranmagri, was caught red handed while taking the sum of Rs.10000 from Ramchand Bhoi.

Bhoi is a peon at Water Works Department, Bhinder who met Rajendra Naval through a common friend few days back. According to ACB, Bhoi was trying to resolve his late father’s pension, GPF and insurance related issue from last few months.

On 2^nd of Oct, Bhoi met Rajendra Naval who works at State Insurance and Provision Department, Rajsamand and asked his help; in return Naval demanded Rs.11000 and asked him to meet on 4^th Oct near Champalal Dharmshala for final payment.

Bhoi approached Udaipur ACB and narrated the story, acting on the tip off, ACB laid trap and arrested Naval while he was taking the amount from Ramchand Bhoi.
