A 21-year-old college student has been arrested for allegedly raping a 14-year-old girl. Victim and the accused are neighbors and residents of Hiran Magri sector 14.

According to police, on 22 Nov, the accused, originally belonging to Pali, persuaded the girl to come at his rented accommodation. Here, he allegedly raped her and threatened her against disclosing this to anyone. The girl returned home and didn’t tell her parents.

After few days, parents of the girl noticed changes in her behavior and post repeated enquiring the girl broke down and narrated the whole incident.

Parents of the girl have lodged an FIR at Goverdhan Vilas Police Station and the accused has been arrested.
