Surajpol police on Sunday arrested an accused from Delhi in connection of cheating a girl of Udaipur for Rs. 20 Lac on the pretext of getting her admitted at Teresa Medical College of Mumbai.

Surajpol police on Sunday arrested an accused from Delhi in connection of cheating a girl of Udaipur for Rs. 20 Lac on the pretext of getting her admitted at Teresa Medical College of Mumbai.

Accused Snehal Panwar of Kundal Maharashtra was nabbed by the police from Delhi on Sunday. He was accused by a girl Priyal Khanna of Sector 14 for raising an amount of Rs 20 Lac from her few days back in the name of getting her admitted at the Medical college of Mumbai, police said.

The money was handed over to the accused at Udaipur after which he got disappeared. After waiting for a long time the victim lodged an FIR at the Surajpol police station against the accused.

The police initiated the investigation of the matter and finally after a fortnight the accused was arrested from Delhi, as per police.

The accused was produced in a local court on Monday that remanded him under Police Custody till 3rd October. Soon a team of cops will go to the house of accused situated at Kundal for the recovery of the money.
