Police constable Rajesh Mehta has been suspended following the case registered against him by a railway officer on duty.

Mehta and his wife were caught without platform ticket by the railway officer Harphool Singh on 24^th May. Following that, a heated argument occurred between both and cases were lodged against each other.

Next day after the incident, GRPF arrested Harphool Singh but he got bail. Several railway employees laid protest against police action and said that, police was biased.

Seeing the gravity of the situation, S.P Ajaypal Singh Lamba ordered Mehta’s suspension.
