Udaipur Anti Corruption Bureau seized an under construction building at Ambavgarh area today. The building was in the dispute last year when it was seized by Udaipur Municipal Corporation for doing construction in no-construction zone.

Udaipur Anti Corruption Bureau seized an under construction building at Ambavgarh area today. The building was in the dispute last year when it was seized by Udaipur Municipal Corporation for doing construction in no-construction zone.

ACB raided the building and also noticed construction work going inside. Hence, the building was seized under the charges of construction work going on in no construction zone and construction work going in already seized building.

The action came along from ACB Headquarters, Jaipur after they received complaint from Mohammad Shakeel, resident of Ambavgarh who resist the illegal construction and lodged complaint with ACB.

Today ACB teams along with officials of Udaipur Municipal Corporation and PWD reached the place and seized two storey building owned by Jyotsana Jhala and her husband Satyapal Singh Dodiya.

The building was started using as resident cum hotel. It was first seized on Feb 2012 under the orders of District Collector but the construction work was still continued at the time of first seize only basement and ground floor was constructed but presently the building also has also 1st floor.

Applicant Mohammad Shakeel alleged that concerned authority was ignoring his plea although he claimed to report illicit activity every time.
