An illegal country made liquor factory was seized by Excise Department in a raid which took place on Saturday at Kaya Village’s Futa Devra area. Around 3000 liters of spirit and 50 liters of country made liquor has been seized while the suspected workers fled from the area.

Divya Mittal, Deputy S.P of Excise Department informed that the team recieved information about the factory being illegally operated from some time. After verifying the information the team raided the place. Besides liquor and other items, two motorcycle and mobile phone were also recovered from there.

At the same time another team of the department has arrested a woman of Devali area for possessing 50 bottles of illegal country made liquor and booked her under various sections of IPC and NDPS act.
