Courier Boys Kidnapped, released in Gujarat
Two men working in a city-based courier company were forcibly taken into a bolero car today at 4:30pm, from Allahabad Bank, Paras Chouraha by a group of unidentified people. Both were later released in different places far from Udaipur.
Two men working in a city-based courier company were forcibly taken into a bolero car today at 4:30pm, from Allahabad Bank, Paras Chouraha by a group of unidentified people. Both were later released in different places far from Udaipur.
The victims, Mansaram Prajapat and Dinesh Prajapat, residents of Sirohi are working as courier delivery boys; the courier company is situated at Moti Chohatta and provides services of delivering precious jewelries through courier.
According to police, the boys were probably attacked with the intention of robbing jewelries from them.
Mansaram and Dinesh, along with two other men were standing near Paras Chouraha, when a Bolero car stopped in front of them and group of boys snatched Mansaram and Dinesh; they pulled them inside the car and also tried to kidnap the other two people, who somehow managed to escape.
After the incident, Phoolaram Prajapat, owner of courier firm informed police.
In next few hours, information came that one of the victim was released at Vijay Nagar, while the other victim was taken away by Kidnappers. In the meantime, the second victim was also freed at Idar, Gujarat.
As per the S.P. Hariprasad Sharma, the victim boys were carrying some valuables; however more information can only be obtained when the victims reach Udaipur.
