A house at Subhash Nagar area was targeted by thieves today afternoon. The accused stole cash, ornaments of gold, silver and diamond from the house within 30 minutes, while the victim owner of the house went to the nearest temple to offer prayers.

Victim Hemlata Singh is a widow and is staying alone in her duplex house situated at Subhash Nagar. The victim went to the nearby Shiv temple to offer prayers when the accused entered the house and decamped with Rs. 25000 cash, 13 Tolas of gold ornaments and diamond jewelry. When the victim returned to her house, she was shocked to discover the theft.

The victim immediately informed the police. A team of Bhopalpura police rushed to the scene and lodged a report of theft against the unknown accused, as per Bhopalpura police.
